🧺 Washing Instructions

1. Read the Care Label

Always check the label first — some linen suits are “dry clean only,” especially if they have lining, embroidery, or structure (like blazers).

2. For Machine-Washable Linen

• Turn inside out: Helps prevent fading and reduces friction.

• Use cold or lukewarm water (≤ 30°C)

• Select gentle cycle: Use the “Delicate” or “Hand Wash” setting.

• Use mild detergent: Avoid bleach or strong detergents.

• Do not overload the machine — linen needs space to move.

3. For Hand Washing

• Fill a basin with cool or lukewarm water.

• Add a small amount of mild detergent.

• Gently swirl the fabric for a few minutes — do not wring or twist.

• Rinse thoroughly in clean water.

4. Drying

• Do not tumble dry (it can shrink or damage linen).

• Gently squeeze excess water.

• Lay flat on a towel or hang to dry in shade.

• Avoid direct sunlight (it can fade the color).

5. Ironing

• Iron when slightly damp for best results.

• Use medium to high heat with steam.

• Turn inside out before ironing to protect color and surface texture.

6. Storing

• Store in a cool, dry place.

• Avoid plastic covers — use cotton garment bags for breathability.

• Hang to avoid wrinkles.

If it’s a linen-viscose blend, use the same steps but prefer cool water and low heat ironing, as viscose is more delicate than pure linen.
